As the year draws to a close, can you share with us a fact about you discovered about yourself in 2022 and why it is important to you?
2022 was about “rising from the ashes”. It feels as if I went into 2020 as a little caterpillar and am now coming out of the Covid-cocoon as a butterfly. I got married; brand events and partnerships are back like before, and plans for our in-house brand are moving forward. It’s freeing and exciting!
What is one challenge that you have faced through the different seasons and phases in 2022? How did you overcome it?
Planning new collections for our in-house brand has taught me that patience is a virtue. Every time I think I’ve learned to be patient, something teaches me there’s always room to grow and be strong in the face of adversities.
"Sometimes we hold on to things that no longer serve us because it feels comfortable. But we don’t realise how much the holding on was weighing us down till much later. I hope you always have the strength to walk away when something no longer serves you."

If you had to pick a Staple piece out of this collection to last you through the 4 seasons, what would it be? Name the Staple piece and one reason why.
I am in love with pleated midi skirts at the moment. It’s such a perfect day to night piece. I love wearing it for work meetings and taking it to parties.
Lastly, is there any words of affirmation that you would like to share with our #LBCommunity as the year comes to an end?
Sometimes we hold on to things that no longer serve us because it feels comfortable. But we don’t realise how much the holding on was weighing us down till much later. I hope you always have the strength to walk away when something no longer serves you.
