Share with us who’s a part of your community, and why is it important to you?
It is very important to me because I went through years of IVF treatment and I was part of the community of ladies going through struggles of conceiving. The sense of connection and bi-directional empathy that is genuine in a community helps hold my fears, hopes, and sadness. Being part of the community provides validation – when we hear others' stories that are similar to ours, we feel LESS alone.

What’s one fond memory with your community that you cherish a lot?
When I first sat down with a group of ladies going through IVF, I broke down when I told them I didn’t feel worthy as a woman. The ladies held my hand saying we are stronger than we think–that unspoken bond really stuck in my head till today. Knowing I’m not alone gave me the support I needed.
