CAMPAIGN MARKETING IN SHOPEE MALAYSIA
Kuan Ern shares her valuable experiences at her first full-time job.
How did you prepare yourself for your interviews?
I did a lot of reading about Shopee to understand the company better and I make sure to keep myself updated to their recent campaigns by scrolling through their app.
I also prepared a list of questions along with my answers that might be asked by the interviewee. As interviewing is all about getting them to know you better and if you are suitable for that position, I made sure that I am well-prepared.
"Take the initiative to learn new things and do your best."

What’s it like starting a job during Covid?
I think the hardest part is the communication. During the first few days, my colleagues have to guide me through everything via zoom and messages. Learning virtually takes a longer time to understand but eventually you will get a hang of everything.

What were the 3 factors you looked for in your first company?
The first factor is the opportunities for growth. As a fresh graduate like me, looking for growing opportunities is important, as it will help me to grow to be a better asset.
The second factor is company culture as company culture reflects on the attitudes and behaviour of a company and their employees. From there, I can see if the company culture suits me, and if I will enjoy the working environment.
The third factor is the benefits offered. Personally I think that the benefits offered by a company will show how much they care for their employees.
