What do you think is the biggest treasure in your life?
Giving birth during the start of the pandemic and raising a baby without much help due to lockdown. They say it takes a village to raise a child, but the pandemic made the village suddenly unavailable. I turned to social media and posted regularly about my motherhood journey. With the influx of messages from my mama followers came the realization that the “village” can actually transcend the physical and instead come in the form of a virtual village!
"We owe it to ourselves to practise self-love and not wait for others to validate our worth. No one can be entirely self-sufficient and confidence is not a bottomless well. When supply is running dry, it’s nice to have a pool of uplifting words from people you trust to draw a boost from."
