On Zoey: Thea Elastic Waist Denim Romper

I'm Zoey, one of the co-founders of Tuft Club! I handle the operations - everything from tufting workshops to commissioned textiles.

Before Tuft Club, I co-founded Hueplay Studio and ran the art jamming and punch needle workshops. I tried out tufting and it clicked instantly, it's much like painting with fibre. Although tufting is exciting, personal and quite cathartic, it's not the most accessible art form.

After a few long months of experimenting and perfecting the craft, we took the step to open a space dedicated to all things tufting - where folks can come down and create all sorts of rugs for their homes, as handmade gifts, or just for self-expression.

I watch Rowena Tsai on YouTube to slow down and reflect, write down my thoughts to break them down, and tackle them one by one.

I'm thankful for the smell of coffee in the morning, and my sun catcher's flecks of light. I'm also grateful for good health that lets me do what I'm doing today.

Take a break whenever you need to, and never undermine your own issue no matter how small it is. Take your time anad keep on trying!
