DATA ANALYST

Job Description

The Business Intelligence (BI) department is looking for a Data Analyst with strong analytics foundation and a keen interest in e-commerce. BI handles a large amount of unstructured and structured data with the goal of discovering a previously hidden insight, which in turn can provide a competitive advantage or address a pressing business problem.

    Responsibilities include:
  • Importing and extracting data from multiple data feeds, cleaning, transforming, performing data validation and formatting the data into usable form
  • Regular analysis and reporting of business performance, data mining, campaign and product performance, inventory analysis, customer segments performance to various stakeholders
  • Analysing web traffic, funnel and channel performance to identify improvement areas, web analytics tag management, using A/B and multi-variate tests to recommend key features for positive site experience
  • Data warehouse maintenance, developing and designing relational databases for collecting data
    Required Skills:
  • Excellent in using MS Excel. Able to extract data from sql databases.
  • Proficient in reporting and using data to solve problems and communicate complex ideas verbally and in written form
  • Knowledge and experience in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Javascript or other web analytics tools will be advantageous.
  • Knowledge and proficiency in Python, R (programming language), will be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Tableau visualization software, or other Big Data tools will be advantageous.
  • Previous work or study experience as a statistician, finance or business analyst, engineer, or web developer is preferred. Applicants should be very comfortable with analysing numbers on a daily basis

Job Scope:

Job Description:
  •        To work closely with designers to develop and create patterns for a variety of clothing styles. 
  •        Maintain an open communication with designers and manufacturers to ensure accuracy in translation of designs. 
  •        Be able to translate complicated designs.

  •        Conduct proper clothing fittings and issue necessary adjustments or corrections.
